As a Multimedia Training Video Specialist for Capital One, you will use your experience and expertise to drive cool, clever, engaging training videos and business-building initiatives. You’ll work with a team of innovative learning and development professionals who serve Capital One associates across the United States with training video content that inspires, empowers, and enhances the way work gets done.
We are an end-to-end production team with a fun work environment. We ‘own’ the entire creative and technical process—and we have the tools to help you create exceptional deliverables. Joining our team means you’re an ace at ideating storyboards, as well as casting and directing talent to shine on-camera. It’s second nature for you when it comes to setting up equipment, backgrounds, sound and lighting. You are just as capable in post-production, editing all of the footage with custom titles and 2-D motion graphics, using either Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere.
Solid writing skills are your strong suit. Pushing the envelope with unconventional ideas is your standard operating procedure. You have a passion for developing quirky but effective pieces that are under 5 minutes in length. Your sharp command of professional A/V equipment means you have no problem creating high-production-value footage. And, your keen sense for tight editing, 2-D motion graphics, audio mixing, voiceovers, and memorable takeaways are apparent in your body of work.
Support creative direction of multimedia projects and the resources necessary to achieve high quality learning experiences
End-to-end production of training videos (pre- through post-)
Coordinate video/filming production efforts with other multimedia developers, trainers, and subject matter experts in a clear and timely manner
Maintain A/V and production equipment
Manage library/inventory of multimedia and video assets
Storyboard development, script writing, and proofreading
Cast and rehearse with talent, and direct them on-camera
Produce high quality video-based training content
Operate a professional HD video camera and multi-camera setups
Set up and configure studio lighting
Microphone set up and sound leveling
Work in a green screen environment, as necessary
Expert-level competence with Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere
Capable with After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator to add visual interest to the subject
Editing with capabilities in color correction, 2-D motion graphics, titling, sound bed selections, and audio mixing
Consulting and relationship management

Travel up to 50%
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience in a professional Video Production role or at least 2 years of professional Video Production coursework
Master's degree or military experience
4 years of experience in a professional Video Production role or 4 years of relevant coursework
1 year of Studio experience
