/ Major Responsibilities: /

Ensure global Bank systematic and technological compliance by conducting enterprise systemic control evaluation reviews relevant BSA/AML/Sanctions related systems./


  • Lead the Sanctions Systems & Technology Review Team

  • Design a plan to perform on a global level systematic control evaluation reviews for BSA/AML/Sanctions related systems, including a plan to determine if the Bank’s sanctions related systems contain the proper controls (automated and/or manual) (detective or preventative) are established and in place and are designed to ensure the completeness and accuracy of transaction data from primary source systems to transaction filtering. The plan should incorporate regulatory expectations, industry developments and lessons learned from regulatory finding and internally identify issues by compliance testing and internal audit

  • Design a plan to perform a validation and end to end testing of the effectiveness of sanctions related system controls

  • Oversee the drafting of reports prepared by the Team Manager which summarize the Objectives, Scope, Findings and Conclusions for each assigned review

  • Develop Action Plans to address remediation efforts and effectiveness review findings

  • Stay abreast of data management, IT developments concerning BSA/AML/Sanctions, fraud schemes, and security issues

  • Support general compliance activities and other duties, including special projects as assigned

  • BA/BS Degree - ACAMS Preferred

  • At least 10 years of experience in an IT auditing environment and knowledge of IT application and systems review, with focus on integrity and accuracy of data feeds

  • Advanced level of expertise with Microsoft Office Suite( i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word, VBA scripting) and SQL language and RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, DB

  • Advanced understanding of System Architectures and documentation of the same (Actimize and or HotScan architecture experience and/or any other compliance systems)

  • Excellent judgment and analytical skills.

  • Test script creation and experience with scripting to support test automation is a plus.

  • Advanced/expert level of expertise in handling various data formats, conducting data analysis and documentation

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, well organized with strong attention to detail
