TheRegional Sales Manager position is responsible for selling Mediware Home Care Solutions software and services products to Home Infusion, HME/DME, and Specialty Pharmacy industries. Will secure valid and profitable contracts for the Home Care Solutions (HCS) business unit of Mediware by effectively developing and managing customer relationships and executing the sales process.

Principal Functions of the Job:

  • Secure valid and profitable contracts for the Home Care Solutions business by effectively managing prospective client relationships and executing the sales process.

  • Prospecting for and qualifying sales opportunities.

  • Listening to and understanding the needs of the client/prospective client.

  • Conduct on-site or GoToMeeting demos with prospective clients; Professionally present products and services.

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitors.

  • Track the status and activities of all assigned accounts in CRM and generate periodic reports related to expected closures for any given fiscal quarter, overall prospect lists, and other information.

  • Knowledgably discuss contract terms with prospective client, explaining, and, when necessary, negotiating these terms.

  • Attend and conduct product demonstrations at industry tradeshows and annual customer user conference.

Job Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • A minimum of 5 years successful sales experience in software sales

  • Results driven individual with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quota

  • Consultative sales experience required

  • Highly motivated, and able to work independently

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to C-Suite level (CNO, CMO, CFO, COO, CEO)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people

  • Microsoft Office experience

  • Salesforce or similar CRM experience

  • Must be able to travel up to 25%

  • Able to work in a fast paced sometimes stressful environment

  • Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills

  • Customer focused
