The Kitchen Porter sanitizes the cafeteria and patient eating/cooking utensils and maintains food service production work areas and equipment in clean/sanitary/orderly condition. The Kitchen Porter also checks rinse temperature and performance of dish machines, keeps cafeteria stocked with items necessary for smooth flow of cafeteria line, loads and operates dish machine, sweeps and mops kitchen and cafeteria floors, hauls trash and delivers and returns patient food carts to patient care units.
