Summary of Duties

​Assist with day-to-day Human Resource Operations, by working directly with employees and HR Leadership. Manage changes through the employee life cycle in the HRIS system, administer Human Resource policies, procedures and programs, and develop an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Essential Responsibilites

  • ​First pointof contact for all employees regarding all Human Resource questions and issues

  • Responsible for the processing ofnew hires, terminations, internal transfers, salary changes and contractorconversions in the HRIS system

  • Maintains integrity of all employeedata via audits

  • Administersemployee Benefits plans and supports the Open Enrollment process

  • Document management of employeefiles

  • Compile andanalyze data, reports and statistics as needed

  • Serve asliaison to employees and benefit consultants in resolving claim problems and issues

  • Verifycoverage of employees as requested by health care providers as well ascoordination of benefits with clients

  • Providefunctional support for areas such as HRIS and Compensation

  • Processmedical support orders (MSO’s)

  • Identify, suggest, document andimplement ongoing process improvements

  • Participatein various department projects as needed

  • Responsiblefor compliance reporting (VETS100/ACA/EEO, etc.)

  • Will berequired to maintain strict confidentiality with all assignments

  • Adherenceto all processes which maintain compliance to U.S. and State regulations

  • Assist inestablishing departmental measurements that support the company’s goals


  • ​Ability towork independently, and maintain high attention to detail

  • Ability tomulti-task and work under tight schedules

  • Workingknowledge of computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel andOutlook – Experience on HRIS systems, Epicor, is a plus

  • Effectivecommunication (oral and written), presentation, facilitation and interpersonalskills

  • Generalknowledge of the ACA (Affordable Care Act), FMLA, HIPAA, and general HR lawsand policies

  • Ability tofollow standard operating procedures and execute repeatable tasks

  • Ability tosuccessfully accomplish tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-pacedcustomer service driven environment

  • Ability tobalance competing priorities

  • Ability tosatisfy the needs of the customer, both internal and external

  • Skilledspecialist or recent college/university graduate

  • 2 - 4+years of relevant experience required

  • Requiresjudgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations
