Toyota's Electronics Systems Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Electronics Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform vehicle-level Electromagnetic Compatibility evaluations of all vehicle systems.
Reporting to the Manager of Electronics Systems, the person in this role will support the Electronics Systems department's objective to manage vehicle evaluation for electromagnetic compatibility.
Manage daily activities related to Electromagnetic Compatibility evaluation for new full-vehicle development projects - including evaluation planning, design reviews, root cause analysis and countermeasure direction setting, and other assigned activities.
Plan and Manage Electromagnetic Compatibility evaluations with Lab staff, including vehicle configurations of all electronics systems (engine, chassis, body).
Contribute to team activities such as technical growth and new-technology ramp-up.
Ensure vehicle quality by planning and executing the evaluation and recommending next steps.
Support annual project assignments from department counterpart in Japan.
Create and manage project plans and schedules for vehicle evaluations, and capital request and implementation.
A successful candidate will have:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.
Engineering experience in automotive systems evaluation or design.
An Excellent driving record.
A successful candidate may have:
A Bachelor's degree or high in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Technical experience with prototype vehicles and Electromagnetic Compatibility.
Experience with electronics circuits or systems, and measurement equipment.
Technical knowledge of how vehicle systems work.
