Plantronics Contract/Temporary Benefits Analyst in United States

Job Overview

This temporary, contract position is responsible for support of Plantronics 2017 Open Enrollment cycle. This position will have a high level of associate contact and thus an expectation of strong customer service, for ensuring accurate and timely program administration, and for performing other administrative task as necessary. May provide analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefits program.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to benefit inquiries from employees to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution.

  • Participate in the annual Health and Wellness Fair

  • Administer assigned benefit programs such as: leave of absence, medical, dental, vision, COBRA, life, disability, flexible spending accounts, wellness, workers comp and 401(k) plans

  • Participation in annual open enrollment and maintenance of benefits information on the Company intranet.

  • Oversee transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration.

  • Work effectively to make sure the plans run smoothly. Investigate discrepancies and provide root cause analysis and resolution.

  • Process any manual enrollments, terminations, and changes.

  • Administrative tasks including data entry, printing, faxing and scanning.

  • May participate in other projects, as they relate to benefits.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2-3 years of experience of HR experience, preferably in administering employee benefit plans and leaves of absence programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Computer proficiency - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Benefits Administration systems (Benefit Focus preferred)

  • Ability to act in a responsive manner to employee’s inquiries and requests; escalate the more difficult matters as necessary

  • Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups and other formulas / macros

  • Experience with the Benefit Focus benefits system – will consider other ben admin system experience

  • Proven communication and organization skills
