The Opportunity

Through continuing growth, our Geelong office is looking for an experienced Client Manager to join the team and play a key role in managing an existing portfolio of clients. Alongside this, you will seek organic growth and business development opportunities to expand the portfolio with the support of the Branch Manager.

Working with a diverse range of SME and middle-market commercial clients across a range of industry sectors, you will continue to build your brand and profile in the local area and within the insurer market.

Additional key responsibilities include:

  • Building and retaining relationships existing commercial clients
  • Proactive marketing to prospects and sourcing of referral business, supported by your manager
  • Working constructively and supportively with the Account Broker in the office
  • Quote new business, cross-selling, endorsements and renewals

To be considered for this position you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Broking experience and background managing a portfolio of commercial clients across a range of industries
  • Strong knowledge base across the spectrum of commercial insurance products; knowledge of ISR would be beneficial, training will be provided to cover any gaps
  • Proven client development and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
