Job Summary: Assists Electricians in the operations, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment. Special Note: This position may work with high voltage systems (480 to 12470 VAC) and must work at times at levels of thirty to one-hundred and twenty feet above ground. Must drive from site to site.

Required Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) year's experience in the field of electrical work. Prefer trade/vocational school training in this field. Must be able to lift, handle and maneuver the tools, materials and supplies of the job. Must be able to perform those items in the Job Summary and the essential functions. Must have the ability to use job-related tools and equipment and chemical supplies. May be required to submit a medical history statement from personal physician. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier. May be required to obtain a valid Commercial Driver License within 6 months employment

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final candidates who are not current University of Alabama employees must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
