Currently, we seek a Phlebotomy Service Floater !

As a Phlebotomy Service Floater, you will perform the daily activities as described below:

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Collection of blood and urine specimens using various techniques and devices. Accession patient information and tests into the Care360 system. Process all types of specimens collected. Obtain billing information from patients and ICD-9 information from clients when necessary. Communicate effectively and politely with internal and external customers.


High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training helpful medical assistant, paramedic. Medical terminology helpful. Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Required Experience:

Phlebotomy: 3 years inclusive of pediatric and geriatric venipuncture, capillary collections. Minimum of 6 months as Phlebotomy Service Representative II in Patient Service Center environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry application. Customer service in a service environment. Knowledge of venipuncture techniques using vacutainer needles and hubs, butterfly devices, safety needle and syringes.

Required Knowledge:

Proficiency in collecting blood specimens from all age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics. Ability to handle large volumes of patients in a timely manner. Ability to successfully interact with all DLO departments and DLO clients. Ability to use a computer and keyboard.

May need to meet the client’s needs by coming in early or staying late when necessary. May be relocated as business needs require.

Other Information

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week, Monday - Thursday from 8:15am - 5:15pm and Friday from 8:15am - 2:15pm.

This will require you to be flexible with the hours to come in early or stay late per our clients needs.

This position is located in an IOP in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
