The Virtual Learning Designer operates as an “innovation hub” comprised of the LMS team and other virtual learning designers to pioneer creative, engaging, low effort, easy-to-access virtual solutions using our LMS and other emerging learning tools such as mobile learning, social learning, burst learning, short videos, video channels, video classrooms, podcasts, webcasts, just-in-time learning, learning self-service, virtual mentoring and coaching, etc. The curriculum includes (but is not limited to) specific job skills, technology, compliance, regulatory, risk, sales, customer service, product banking, onboarding and orientation, management and leadership skills. Responsibilities include:
Apply knowledge of adult learning principles and ADDIE design model to build innovative solutions that meet organizational learning & development needs across the enterprise and the major lines of business.
Using virtual tools, determine overall educational flow and content breakdown; design slick look and feel; bring content to life through text, graphics, video, audio, animation, etc. in easy to consume ways
Craft visual/audio experiences that work best for virtual learning and easy consumption
Convert instructor-led training (ILT) courses/programs to virtual learning solutions
Facilitate and/or “produce” live, remote workshops in video classrooms with SMEs and/or executives
Manage relationships and accountabilities with subject matter experts who are responsible for providing content and expertise during solution design/development
Work with in-house LMS team for content testing
Collaborate with Compliance Training team to create new compliance certifications to help the organization meet regulatory standards
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited post-secondary institution in Instructional Design or Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, Online Learning, Education Technology, Education Media, Organizational Development, Adult Education or related subject. Relevant experience may substitute for education
5 years designing and deploying learning solutions through virtual channels
Recent experience with emerging, digital learning/social technology and tools beyond just e-learning authoring tools.
Experience conducting webinars and producing/recording podcasts Strong planning, organization, and execution skills with little supervision required through project stages.
Proficient in web-based authoring tools Articulate Storyline and Studio preferred; Oracle UPK, Lectora, and/or Adobe Captivate or other a plus Knowledge of SCORM 1.2
Experience with a LMS, Saba preferred Proficient in content testing and troubleshooting (both AICC and SCORM)
Experience with audio and video editing software
