Reporting to the assigned HR manager, provide project coordination and support for HR business initiatives and assignments. This includes assisting with the execution of HRBP services to assigned clients, analyzing HR related data to produce reporting for a variety of audiences, and planning and executing on various HR projects in support of assigned clients.
Responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of human resources projects supporting specific initiatives/strategies/programs. Sample projects include reorganizations, compliance reporting, HRIS data clean-up and client-focused program rollouts. Duties include creating communication packages, developing and executing on project logistic plans, and assisting in action items assigned to HR Business Partners. Works closely with various HR areas to support business client initiatives/strategy/programs.
Coordinate HR ad-hoc reports /data requirements to meet management request and needs for HR related information at various levels. Partners with HR Shared Services Data team, or independently runs reports from HRIS. Reviews data for accuracy and identifies data issues that may impact quality of internally or externally prepared analysis. May recommend other factors to be considered.
Creates presentation materials for assigned client groups, or in support of HR Business Partner deliverables. May collect data from the HR Information System, employee surveys, and/or personnel activity reports in order to format data and provide preliminary analysis of trends and potential areas of concern. Evaluate data needs and recommend improvements to current processes.
Provides HR Business Partner support as necessary to assigned clients. May provide information or guidance on issues including job descriptions, offer terms, basic HR policy & procedures, referrals to HR Centers of Excellence, or support in executing cyclical HR programs such as annual performance management process or talent development initiatives.
This position typically requires:
Knowledge of HR policies and processes preferred.
Three to Five years of professional experience, preferably HR in financial services.
Strong technical skills. Must have medium to advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of an HRIS system, particularly Workday, preferred.
Accuracy and attention to detail required.
Ability to manage projects from start to finish.
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Effective team player.
Ability to negotiate and influence others.
