DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
Processes specimens, prepares reagents, and performs testing procedures.
Reports and interprets test results.
Works with physician to analyze results.
Serves as consultant to medical laboratory and phlebotomists as needed.
Performs phlebotomy as needed.
Runs instruments as needed.
Cover lab supervisor as needed.
Minimum 3 years prior experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
Minimum of 1 year of experience performing phlebotomy.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Completion of License/Certification program is required. Please note this information must be provided on an application to be considered.
Must be certified in accordance to state regulations.
Certification bodies include American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel (NCAMLP), or the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
