Lockheed Martin Financial Analyst Senior in Sunnyvale, California
This position will be assigned to the Spaced Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS) Space Vehicle Segment Finance and Business Operations (F&BO) team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; establishing /managing program cost baselines, conducting Estimate at Complete (EAC) analysis, including EAC justifications, and variance analysis. Aggressively manage and perform analysis to ensure present and future financial performance is consistent with forecasts and identify risk and opportunities to the plan. Develop cost and schedule baseline estimates and support proposal preparation activities. Track labor hours on a weekly basis and resolve charging issues. Analyze headcount comparisons on a weekly basis. Provide guidance, training & mentoring to junior analysts, ensures Earned Value Management (EVM) and financial information is correct and compliant to Program Performance Management Process (PPMP) guidelines. Additional tasks include supporting the Comprehensive EAC , assisting with the development and documentation of corrective action plans. Lead various other ad hoc and special projects/requests as required.
Basic Qualifications Business Operations background. Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, strong analytical ability, and high degree of accuracy with numerical data. Quick learner with aptitude for various systems and processes . Expert in Excel including working knowledge of Pivot tables and V-lookups.
Desired skills Understanding of Earned Value Management principles, standards, processes, requirements and documentation and their application to the program including EVMS metrics & reporting experience. Proactive, proven leader with a positive attitude. Able to develop strategic process improvement for the assigned team and look for ways to implement on the program. Knowledge of PPMP Requirements and Systems (COBRA, MRP, SAP). Work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team, strong interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills with proven work style focusing on accountability and professionalism. Experience in multiple F&BO functions (FP&A, Contracts, Planning, Estimating, Subcontracts, etc.).
