Philips Associate Marketing Manager - Oral Healthcare in Stamford, Connecticut

Your Challenge

We challenge you as an Associate Marketing Manager in conjunction with the Marketing Team Lead, to develop and execute marketing activities to drive market share gains and topline Sales growth in the US.

Effectively manage and contribute to the critical Jobs to Be Done for the Oral Healthcare Business including, but not limited to launching new product innovation, executing National Promotional activities and supporting the Sales Organization with sell in of new items/plans each year.


Support the development of multi-year (BMC) plans for the Brand:

  • Assist Team Lead and global Category stakeholders to localize existing global product platforms

  • Project management: ensure full on-time and in full MIP ( market introduction process) deliverable

  • Analyze consumer research, customer research, channel trends, current market conditions and competitor information to unlock new insights that will drive competitive advantage.

  • Effectively analyze Nielsen data to identify business issues and trends

  • Contribute to Customer Specific Roadmap strategies

Develop and execute marketing activities for new and existing products:

  • Participate in cross-functional Brand and category reviews to identify issues and opportunities;

  • Team up with other functions to facilitate channel / customer specific promotions in line with National Plans

  • Collaborate with Team Lead to manage all aspects of the National Promo Pricing Strategy

  • Fully own the National Coupon Strategy including plan recommendation, budgeting & tracking

  • Team up with Category, Finance and Sales Organization to analyze product specific activities and promotions and recommend feasibility to Sr. Management

  • Team up with Category and supply chain to optimize innovation deployment plan

  • Manage SKU level forecasting including ship/share modeling to drive forecast accuracy.

  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results. Including monthly report out on sales lifts, share, key promo metrics, Marketing ROI

  • Manage the marketing budget allocated to the specific activities assigned with a focus on compliance

  • Provide Marketing support for all customer-facing activities:

  • Assist Team Lead in translating the midterm product roadmap into concrete product specifications for implementation by the Sales & Category Management Organizations

  • Work closely with Sales planning to execute effective promotional programs

Your Team

You will report directly to the Marketing Team Lead of Oral Healthcare as part of Philips Oral Healthcare Marketing Team. This position is based in Stamford, CT.

We are looking for

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills education and experience:

  • Bachelor Degree required, MBA preferred

  • 2-3 years of marketing experience

  • CPG experience required

  • Demonstrated understanding of business fundamentals: consumption reporting, forecasting, budget

  • Critical thinking & decision making

  • Problem analysis and solving

  • Curiosity for Consumer and passion for Marketing

  • Energy, adaptability and drive

  • Self-starter, resourceful, and always willing to take on more

  • Creative, entrepreneurial, unwilling to accept status quo

  • Professional maturity and ability to navigate the organization

  • Strong Excel skills, PowerPoint and presentation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
