The Treasury Division is seeking an Analyst for the Bank Management System (BMS) and Treasury General Account (TGA) operations teams. The Bank Management System (BMS) operations unit is responsible for the analysis and reporting of information held within the application. The Treasury General Account (TGA) operations unit performs monthly bank reviews, project plans, financial institution onboarding, and detailed monthly reporting. Perform bank reviews by investigating/analyzing trends and preparing statistics and supporting documentation reflecting the findings.
Perform monthly analysis of bank statements to ensure proper information was provided by the depositaries and identify any large discrepancies.
Plan and facilitate internal, financial institution and Fiscal Service customer training as needed.
Review and approve documentation for new or existing agencies requesting the services of a TGA bank.
Compile data for metrics analysis, surveys and ad hoc requests from Treasury.
Handle customer inquiries referred by operations unit staff
Investigate and resolve complex bank related problems and transactions requiring special attention
Gather data from numerous sources, analyzes results and determine appropriate action.
Revise/update application documentation including user guides, work flow diagrams, operational procedures and customer communications.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of contingency plans and business continuity procedures.
U.S. Citizenship required
1-2 years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and Power Point)
Ability to manage multiple projects and other duties in a timely manner
