Job Description Designs and establishes management documentation. Authorizes the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.
Plans and implements methods to improve response. Participates in special studies. May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Under the guidance of a senior level analyst, performs data management tasks as required by contract.
Manage CM operations across all baselines under configuration control, to include all documentation. Additionally, will provide support to Program Manager (PM) , Project Manager, System Engineers (SE) pertaining to production processes, associated documentation, and configuration and change management (CM) processes.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining CM Policy. Proven ability to collect and maintain a complete and accurate database of network and system assets, configurations, updates, processes and procedures. Must be able to provide configuration accounting in support of change management activities and facilitate/participate in applicable IPTs and Control Boards.
• Participate in the preparation and coordination for Readiness Reviews.
• Experience with Government Drawing Standards (NAVSEA), block wiring diagrams, cable assembly drawings, installation drawings, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with CMMI and ISO Quality Standards. Ability to manage multiple Configuration projects simultaneously and maintain high accuracy and quality of configurations.
Knowledge of SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic (SSC-LANT).
Ability to acquire and maintain a U.S. Government Common Access Card (CAC).
Knolwedge of CMPro.

Required Skills Bachelor degree in business administration or an applicable field or equivalent experience, and five to seven years of experience are required. 5-10 years of experience in Configuration Management for in C4ISR Shipboard Integration, Installation and testing, Exterior Communications, Intelligence systems, and Network Systems.
ACTIVE Secret clearance required.
Work is generally performed in a normal office environment where there is minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Job assignments may require working at client site where working conditions may vary. Travel may be required.
