Philips Business Development Manager in Shanghai, China

• Initiates and supports corrective actions when category sales and margin targets are not met in assigned markets/clusters

• Ensures spillover from priority BMCs to the assigned BMCs

• Evaluating business opportunities and realizing their potential:

  • Manage the long-term viability of the category in the country;

  • Aid in the identification and drive the Business Country Combination for the category

• Liaise & coordinate between the Category, CO & functions to aid in the market development

• Responsible for the key account insights to properly influence development and go-to-market approach

• Drives the annual business planning cycle of the Category:

  • Drives the business planning and review cycle (AOP, RoFo, etc.),

  • Approves and aggregates CO marketing plans (covering each category, incl. A&P)

• Maintaining extensive knowledge of the current developments in the market in order to assess the position of the Category and determine how to improve it

• Collects and shares local insights and requirements from COs and IRM (shopper, customer, communications, legal, etc.)

· Facilitate learning & best practice sharing across BMC’s

· Leads pricing for category (line charts etc...)
