Jack Henry and Associates Accounting Analyst in Seattle, Washington
The Accounting Analyst assists in forecasting, budgeting and analysis, updating forecasts and long range planning, month end activities and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting related experience.
CPA or other equivalent certification preferred.
PeopleSoft or similar software experience preferred.
Proficient skills using Microsoft Excel to work with pivot tables, formulas and V-lookups
Experience with journal entries, general ledger and analysis
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Records, classifies, and posts details of business transactions in accordance with accounting and auditing policies and procedures.
Prepares journal entries and monthly financial statements.
Performs balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation to the General Ledger.
Work with operation managers on monitoring ongoing projects.
Complete financial analysis of data and variance analysis.
Assists with the monthly and annual budget and forecast with input from the various department heads and managers.
Performs monthly review of P&L reports; may include variance analysis for General Managers and their direct report Managers.
Perform other routine daily and monthly responsibilities including reconciliations, forecasting, and other relevant projects.
