Job Description Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs engineering design evaluations. May develop a range of products. Recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Support the life cycle support of Electronic Surveillance (ES) Systems. Work with Giant Voice Mass Notification System (GV-MNS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems. Perform site check/ship checks both pier-side and within shipyard/industrial environments.

Required Skills - Active Secret clearance (preferred) or ability to obtain a - Secret Clearance.

- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred

- 4-6 years of related experience.

- Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- 2+ years of experience with site checks and the development of Installation Design Packages (IDPs) in accordance with the SPAWAR Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH).

- Prior experience with Giant Voice Mass Notification System (GV-MNS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems. as part of SPAWARs Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) projects (preferred)/

- Proficiency in using AutoCAD 2009 or newer version.

- Proficiency working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

- Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

- Ability to support job assignments at client site where working conditions may vary.

- Ability to travel as necessary (25%); CONUS and OCONUS.

Department Our services in the Defense business unit support all branches of the U.S. military and the intelligence community. Our teams provide a variety of support services related to the maintenance and life cycle sustainment of US Navy, US Coast Guard and Customs and Border Patrol fielded C5I systems. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems. We also provide personnel services to military personnel, military families, and civilians working for the military.
