Prepares operating and capital budgets consistent with hospital goals and objectives. Develops financial forecasts and balances programs and resources for SMH. Controls expenses within the food service department. Takes necessary action to ensure all Food Service quality and service standards are met. Maintains an awareness of the competition and marketing conditions internal and external to the department. Demonstrates a proactive and enthusiastic attitude in striving for and meeting food service business goals and objectives. Promotes teamwork within the department. Identifies opportunities for improvement and implements appropriate actions. Responsible for ensuring appropriate safety standards are maintained at all time. Responsible for ensuringappropriate staffing levels.
A. Licensure/ Certification/Registration: Servesafe
B. Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent experience, CDM< CFPP preferred
C. Experience: Hospital food service experience; operational experience at a managerial level.
D. Special Qualifications: General business acumen. Ability to communicate effective, both verbal and written; Planning, organizational skills and effective time management skills.
