Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital offers full inpatient services, including 24-hour physician-staffed emergency, pediatric, obstetric and intensive-care coverage. The hospital also has a Siteman Cancer Center location on campus.
At Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, every decision is made in the best interest of patients and families. The Therapy Departments provide inpatient services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology.
Performs registration/scheduling and provides administrative support for the entire Rehabilitation Services Department.
Manages department data and performs medical record management by processing medical record requests and coordinating with Health Information Management representative.
Manages patient and department schedules, including but not limited to, new patient referrals, ongoing patient visits, wait list management, and patient attendance events.
Greets patients and enters charges, collects payments, and prepares deposits.
Ensures that all patients have been registered, that authorization for treatment has been obtained, insurance benefit verification has been completed, and that documentation associated with patient visit is organized prior to the scheduled visit.
Assists with special projects, as assigned and demonstrates the ability, flexibility and willingness to manage an increased workload as department needs fluctuate.
