Role Purpose

Process all BJC workers' compensation claims by identifying compensability, applying appropriate decision strategies, following administrative policies and procedures. Assists management in coordination of the workers' compensation case coordination team; and provides on-going support to case coordination staff.


  • Provides effective case coordination and claims analysis.

  • Serves as a resource for staff related to compensability requirements, appropriate billing status, and compliance with State and other regulatory bodies.

  • Process Worker Compensation claims.

  • Communicate with Occupational Health nurses, attorneys, physicians and other providers

Minimum Requirements


  • Associate's Degree


  • 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience

Preferred Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree

    • Paralegal/Risk Management


  • 5-10 years
