The Obstetrics/Gynecology clinic serves women from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, the majority of whom come from the St. Louis metropolitan area. Any woman, regardless of age, is eligible to receive care in the OB-BYN Clinic. Patients are seen for routine OB-GYN care including prenatal care, well women exams, and family planning. The OB-GYN Clinic provides outpatient OB-GYN care and nursing care through health promotion, prenatal screening, diagnosis, treatment, and education.
Provides clerical support: scheduling appointments for medical care, determining payment eligibility, acquiring & maintaining medical records, answering phones, managing paperwork and other clerical duties.
Coordinates the managed care referral authorization process.
Performs registration functions.
Provides clerical support as assigned.
Manages phone calls.
