Role Purpose

Oversees the process operations management of the BJCMG Access Center serving as the primary point of contact for providers and practice staff for issues and questions related to process management, while developing positive cross-functional relationships between BJC Business Units and maintaining superior productivity standards and service quality for the Access Center. Continually works to identify and implement opportunities to drive efficiencies in the services delivered by the Access Center and process improvement needs and completes follow up of Access Center issues and reporting resolution.


  • Maintains the website and the sharepoint site for use by front line staff as the primary resources for policies, processes, and procedures, practice/physician information, updates and changes to information.

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the practices electronic medical record (EMR) system and the practices scheduling software or enterprise practice management system (EPM).

  • Participates in onboarding practices for providers and practice staff. Provides coaching, guidance, training, on-boarding and consulting to team members as needed.

  • Assists in the development, compilation and review of performance metrics, service/performance standards, scorecards, training, tools, and resources. Maintains a dashboard of key metrics and provides reports to leadership, and stakeholders, as requested.

  • Maintains superior productivity standards and service quality; identifies and implements process improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies in the services delivered, provides "In the moment" coaching of staff and ensures appropriate training and resources are available

Minimum Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED


  • 5-10 years

Supervisor Experience

  • 2-5 years

Preferred Requirements


  • Associate's Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree
