Formulates and defines voice system scope and objectives based on user needs. Provides voice infrastructure design (layouts and drawings). Provides subject matter expertise for functional areas of voice communications. Consults directly with business users, and provides second-tier support to end users to ensure reliable application system availability and performance

Role Purpose

Under general supervision, responds to and supports all voice technical control hardware and software issues. Responsible for participating in voice infrastructure design and planning for assigned facility.


  • Partners with customers to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality voice solutions.

  • Conducts telephone moves, adds and changes including software programming.

  • Responds to and resolves customer trouble tickets.

  • Designs, codes, tests, implements, maintains, upgrades and supports voice software solutions that are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Interfaces with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or period of degraded system performance.

Minimum Requirements
