Role Purpose

Reviews, analyzes, evaluates and troubleshoots issues for various lab related computer systems used across the enterprise. Maintains and builds all new laboratory requests in existing systems. Particpates in system wide projects that are predominately manged by IS. Builds, manages and maintains medical device interfaces. Acts on change control requests submiited by laboratory staff as assigned. Particpates in any system testing, upgrade testing or validation testing as needed. Independantly manages multiple tasks or subprojects. Interacts with and provides guidance laboratory staff on how to build new tests as needed. Provides 24/7 support for issues.


  • Manages, maintains and monitors multiple databases across the lab enterprise. Troubleshoots and resolves issues.

  • Created and maintains education materials. Provides education and training for all end users.

  • Trains new and established analysts on Lab computer systems maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Participates in and manages small project

  • Assists with creation and maintenance of standard work plans, quality plan, CAP manual and various other documents

Minimum Requirements

Licenses & Certifications

  • MT/MLS - ASCP or equiv

Preferred Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree

    • Biology


  • 2-5 years
