Through Raising St. Louis, the Parent Educator works in partnership with other entities to support families in St. Louis City. Parent Educators administer evidence-based curriculum and empower parents to support the developmental needs of their children. Their focus is on the needs of a family, supporting the parents to understand that they are their childs primary and most significant teacher.
Manages multiple family caseloads and conducts home visits with these families.
Works with families to develop goals and provides support to meet goals.
Maintains accurate, confidential and up-to-date records in accordance with specified requirements and regulations.
Conducts developmental and health screenings of enrolled children.
Helps families navigate community resources and appropriate referrals.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years
