Job Description:Assists Store Manager in the efficient operation of a retail store; managing and leading store staff to achieve established goals for sales, production, customer service, payroll, safety and expense control.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains excellent customer and staff relations.

  • Maintains salesfloor presentation.

  • Reconciles receipts/cash and prepares bank deposits.

  • Maintains a safe and secure environment.

  • Leads and encourages store staff.

  • Provides staff training; assign specific duties and follow-up.

  • Maintains store equipment in proper working order.

  • Maintains excellent housekeeping standards.

  • Performs accurate operations of a cash register.

  • Receives and records donations from public.

  • Sorts and prices donations.

  • Loads and unloads store trucks.

  • Maintains high awareness of employee and customer safety.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Performs limited supervisory duties in the absence of the Store Manager

  • This job supervises 9-35 staff.
