Job Description:Assists Store Manager in the efficient operation of a retail store; managing and leading store staff to achieve established goals for sales, production, customer service, payroll, safety and expense control.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintains excellent customer and staff relations.
Maintains salesfloor presentation.
Reconciles receipts/cash and prepares bank deposits.
Maintains a safe and secure environment.
Leads and encourages store staff.
Provides staff training; assign specific duties and follow-up.
Maintains store equipment in proper working order.
Maintains excellent housekeeping standards.
Performs accurate operations of a cash register.
Receives and records donations from public.
Sorts and prices donations.
Loads and unloads store trucks.
Maintains high awareness of employee and customer safety.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Performs limited supervisory duties in the absence of the Store Manager
This job supervises 9-35 staff.
