Arvest Executive Director of Treasury Management in Rogers, Arkansas
SUMMARY: The Executive Director of Treasury Management (TM) has primary responsibility for developing and executing a strategic plan for Treasury Management targeting revenue growth above median industry benchmarks. The incumbent will manage all aspects of the Treasury Management process including Sales, Product Management and Client Support. The Executive Director of Treasury Management must work closely with local commercial teams to understand their priorities and competitive position in the local markets. The incumbent ensures high communication and collaboration levels among Treasury Management division teams and local commercial teams. Additionally, the incumbent serves as the internal “public face” for Arvest Treasury Management services by regularly presenting to various groups including Executive Committee, Presidents Group and special meetings with the local commercial teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategic plan for Treasury Management targeting revenue growth above the median industry benchmarks. Work with local commercial teams and all Treasury Management Division teams to build and update an effective tactical map.
Working with the Finance group and commercial team(s), provide leadership in developing and implementing an effective pricing strategy for Treasury Management solutions.
Provide direction, oversight and leadership for the Treasury Management sales force and ensure effective, competitive sales tools, targets, and metrics are utilized.
Provide direction, oversight and leadership for all facets of product management for the Treasury Management division including solution development, implementation, and assigned operational areas.
Provide direction, oversight and leadership for Treasury Management client support, on-boarding, and other customer fulfillment operations/processing functions.
Develop and oversee a robust process for gathering market intelligence on products and incorporate into product development plans and efforts to differentiate the banks Treasury Management solutions, market identity, and value proposition.
Serve effectively as the internal “public face” for Arvest Treasury Management services by regularly presenting to various groups including Executive Committee, Presidents Group, and special meetings with local commercial teams as requested.
Lead the development and strategic alignment of the Treasury Management division budget including the annual presentation to the Budget Committee.
Develop and maintain close relationships by meeting with and visiting local banks in order to clearly understand their markets, priorities and competitive position.
Work to ensure high communication and collaboration levels among all Treasury Management division teams and the local commercial teams.
Promote sales by frequently meeting with key commercial customers and discussing new products, market and industry developments.
Initiate cross-sell strategies based on data mining capabilities and interface with product management to ensure alignment.
Build and oversee effective Treasury Management risk management and compliance practices at the client, product, and process levels.
Serve as the Arvest representative with industry associations, such as the National Cash Management Industry, and other key outside parties.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Support and uphold the Arvest Mission Statement.
Uphold the Arvest Code of Ethics and ensure that confidential information is safeguarded.
Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all associates in order to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service.
Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will improve profitability and efficiency for the company’s overall operation.
Foster and promote the proper company image at all times.
Directly supervise 2 or more associates as assigned by the Manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Ensure direct reports have completed required compliance training and are adhering to all internal procedures and controls as it relates to bank policy, laws, regulations and Arvest’s BSA/AML Program. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates. The incumbent has the authority and the appropriate influence to make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status of other associates within the guidelines of the bank’s procedures and guidelines for such change of status events. The incumbent provides training, planning, assigning, and directing work assignments and schedules; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance preferred.
10+ years in treasury management experience required.
5 years previous management experience required.
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation or Certified Cash Manager (CCM) designation required.
Strong presentation skills required.
Expert level knowledge in Treasury Management products and full bank product suite required.
Demonstrated ability to build a comprehensive treasury and depository fee strategy required.
Demonstrated ability to attract, develop and lead strong teams required.
Demonstrated experience in building and executing a successful sales process required.
Strategic sales cycle knowledge including sales planning, sales approach and providing solutions selling to large complex customers required.
