I. Job Summary • Responsible for day to day operations, projects and audits of the accounting department • Responsible for the accuracy of the division financial statements both monetary and statistics • Responsible for month-end close and communication of close related to issues to Capital Division hospital accounting staffs • Responsible for compiling monthly/weekly reports under direction of the Division Controller • Analyze monthly Net Revenue and expenses to ensure financials are stated correctly and any trends or issues are identified. All variances > $500k should be explained. • Partner with Case Management Director and Denials Manager on revenue optimization • Oversight of compiling Capital Division office budget, working with various departments • Work to create standard Accounting/Financial Practices across the Division, to ensure APG compliance and efficiency • Work strategically with Supply Chain and Performance Improvement to maximize efficiencies, cost management, contracting, etc. • Assist in onboarding new Controllers to the Division • Assist in reviewing Capital needs and evaluating financial/quality returns to ensure capital dollars are deployed appropriately • Assist in evaluating CON projects • Work with Division and Hospital leaders on developing the strategic roadmaps for our facilities • Coordinate, along with Division Controller, the division budget process • Conduct Balance sheet, SOX, and SMA reviews periodically at each of the facilities • Work with Performance Improvement team on clinical and cost efficiency projects • Work with PI, Division and Hospital leadership on productivity management and staffing assessments. • Assist in evaluating Division-based initiatives which may include, but are not limited to: marketing, centralized contracting, cost savings initiatives and other efficiency-based projects • Other duties/projects as assigned

II. Job Relationships A. Responsible to: Division Controller B. Nature of Supervision Received: Minimal--individual proceeds on his/her own initiative, in compliance with policies, procedures and practices prescribed by immediate supervisor C. Interactions with: CMC departments, Division and Corporate offices

Qualifications . Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA certification preferred . 3-5 years experience in Accounting . Highly motivated, seeking rapidly changing environment with growth opportunities . Previous experience in a senior level accounting position preferred . Hospital/healthcare background required
