*Dixon is looking for an Operations Manager Trainee to join its Warehouse Team in Rancho Cucamonga. *

Position Summary:

This position will learn all things required in the day to day operations of our warehouse operation while supporting customer service functions. Responsibilities include but not limited to day-to-day activities including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping and material handling, monitoring flow of stock and shipments, making recommendations for process improvements and customer service. Applicants should have 2-4 years’ experience in the warehouse/distribution field along with supervisory or leadership experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to customer service
  • Work as a member of the Distribution team performing general warehouse duties
  • Problem resolution
  • Help to coach and train staff
  • May operate hand equipment and forklift
  • Learn the daily operations of the warehouse

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and customer service
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to lift and maneuver 70 lbs. consistently over the course of a shift
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
