The Project Manager is responsible of Physical Design Management Services, overseeing the creation and revision of all Final Design documents required by AHJV/HART.

He manages a team having members in Europe, in the USA (mainland) and in Hawaii.

*Job Description: *

The Project Manager work includes the following:

  • Manage deliverables for the following

-Shop Drawings device placement for all ACS/IDS, CCTV, FOCN, PIS, TEL, SLAN, VRCS, and WCS domains. Also responsible for device placement of ICCS, INMS, and MMIS workstations and cabinets in the OCC/BOCC areas.

-Wiring Diagrams for all COM subsystems referenced above, including Network Timing System (NTS).

-Cabinet and Equipment Information for all COM subsystems references above, including rack layout, elevation, and loading details.

-Bill of Materials for all COM subsystems referenced above.

-Acoustic Simulation and Field of View Studies for physical design deliverable packages, where required.

  • Plan, create and manage schedule for Physical Design activities

  • Manage resources and ensure timely completion of Physical Design

  • Conduct and moderate weekly meetings internally and with the customer

  • Identify and mitigate risks and facilitate issue resolution

  • Ensure the engineering change management process

As part of the integration there will be no formal company-wide review of grades, since in most cases there has been limited or no change to positions. Legacy grade structures will continue to exist for some time until future harmonization on the existing Nokia grade structure. The job grade shown is indicative, and may be subject to change such that the final grade may be higher or lower than shown in this requisition.



  • Engineer, preferably in telecommunications.

  • 5 years experience of project management in the Industry.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Leadership skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable driving multiple issues to closure simultaneously

  • Ability to contribute to process improvements and efficiencies

  • Understanding of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation s network infrastructure
