Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford is the heart and soul of Stanford Children’s Health. Nationally ranked and internationally recognized, our 311-bed hospital is devoted entirely to pediatrics and obstetrics. Our six centers of excellence provide comprehensive services and deep expertise in key obstetric and pediatric areas: brain & behavior, cancer, heart, pregnancy & newborn, pulmonary and transplant. We also provide an additional, wide range of services for babies, kids and pregnant moms.
This paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job.Works under general direction on system technology projects to meet the business system needs for a client group includes developing system design and interface specifications, identifying solutions to business needs and implementation of technology solutions. Scope of the job includes planning and managing technology system implementations and enhancements to existing technology systems; design specifications to support business system changes; assist implementation e.g., leading small project teams, assist with planning and coordination, client testing and training and ensuring smooth turnover of projects to client group.

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Service Standards of the Hospital(s).
Provides Epic Cupid product function, design, and build expertise needed for successful product implementation.
Develop effective relationships with end-users and other team members to enhance the timeliness and effectiveness of technology solutions
Provides application support for Epic Radiant/Cupid and related applications i.e. on call support, resolving end-user tickets, coordinating downtime and upgrades.
Develops training, testing, and security plans to ensure design meets defined business requirements. Coordinate plans as needed. Provide ongoing training to clients and IT staff.
Performs in the role of project manager or project coordinator for small projects. Assures smooth turnover of projects, both at the initiation as well as at the conclusion, to support services within IT as well as in customer departments.
Assists in the development of the IT Department’s policies and procedures and recommends to management suggestions for improvement.
Collaborates with all departments of IT, recommends appropriate system back-up procedures and obtains management approval for back up procedures..
Provides information and is current in available health care information system applications, business conditions, and trends.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a work related field/discipline from an accredited college or university
Experience: Four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education, or licensure/certification.
Knowledge and understanding of both Invasive and Non Invasive Cardiology workflows i.e.., Cath Lab, Cardiology and Imaging workflows are preferred.
Certification in Epic Radiant/ Cupid is required.
Knowledge and understanding of Hemodynamics/Merge, Cardiology PACS and EP workflows are desired.
Experience in at least one end-end implementation of cupid is required.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills at a level to effectively communicate clearly and concisely
