The Accelerated Continuing Education (ACE) Program is designed for new RN graduates who are interested in exposure to various nursing units and experiences during this 8 week program. Upon successful completion, participants will be eligible for consideration into a full-time assignment on a specific unit.
Under the direction of the Charge Nurse and/or the Nurse Manager, the Registered Nurse provides individualized nursing care to patients in accordance within established nursing procedures and organizational philosophies. The Registered Nurse plans, directs and evaluates the provision of care by licensed & non-licensed personnel. The Registered Nurse guides unit functions with the goal of providing high quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
Qualifications - Minimum
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing
Kentucky Registered Nurse License; or active compact state-issued license
Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS through AHA
Qualifications - Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
Works within patient care units and other areas as assigned. Working beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and holidays, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary. Working throughout the facility moving around intermittently thoughout the shift. Frequent interruptions.
6:45 am - 7:15 pm
