Reporting to the Managing Director of Credit Training for the Americas (CTA) and up through the Chief Risk Officer's organization, the Senior Credit Trainer is responsible for all credit training within the Bank including Corporate Banking, Credit Administration, Credit Policy, Business Banking/Retail Bankers, and others whose responsibilities include underwriting, approving, and reviewing credit exposures.

Essential functions include: 1) Create, develop, coordinate, manage, administer, and conduct credit training for MUFG in the Americas; 2) Work in cooperation with the Business Lines, Product Groups, Credit Administration, and Credit Examination for the Americas to identify needs and develop specific training programs; 3) Deliver credit training for the MUFG Americas Credit Training Program, Continuing Professional Development Programs, and the Global Analyst Program; 4) Manage and perform some administrative responsibilities in preparation for training programs, such as scheduling of programs / webinars and preparation of training materials.

Position Requires:

  • Preferred education includes an advanced degree in accounting or finance.

  • Experience should include 5-10 years of commercial and corporate lending experience, and 5-10 years of teaching/training experience.

  • Well developed and proven organizational skills and excellent oral / written / interpersonal communications and presentation skills.

  • Ideally, a working knowledge of the Bank's credit organization, culture, and underwriting processes.
