SecurityScorecard Inside Sales Business Development Representative in New York, New York

SecurityScorecard is growing their Inside Sales Team, looking to hire two (2) Inside Sales Business Development Reps (BDR) to join our team. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a highly rewarding, highly collaborative team environment that provides both significant and rapid growth potential. We provide a comprehensive, hands-on training program giving you the tools you need to be successful. The role is located at the SecurityScorecard HQ in downtown NYC.

• Focus on identifying new sales opportunities for Security Scorecard’s cloud-based security software that provides businesses with an instant threat analysis. • Research prospective organizations that can benefit from Security Scorecards cloud based software solutions; • Identify decision-makers in those organizations; • Call prospects and engage in qualifying conversations designed to communicate our value and discover sales opportunities; • Gain commitment from prospects to attend a brief web-based product demo, or other call to action. • Work with your team leader to uncover sales opportunities, manage the sales process, and close business.


• New College Grad or 0 to 2 years work experience (this is an entry level position) • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent; Communications, Business Management, Business Administration, preferred, but not necessary • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to interact with people successfully, either in person or over the phone, to lead or persuade, and overcome challenges • Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success • Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored • Strong web and computer skills: MS Office, desirable
