Stansell is hiringElectrical Helper to workprimarilyin construction in the Nashville and/or Smith County areas, but who may also be asked to workout of town around the Southeastern U.S.A. This position may require some travel to different areas depending upon Project assignment. The ideal candidate will have previous Electrical Construction experience and be able to perform the basic functions of the job as described below.
This is an entry level position with the opportunity for advancement through anElectrical Apprenticeship Training Programsponsored by the company. Perform under general supervision all aspects of installation, alteration, demolition, maintenance and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, assemblies, and associated materials and equipment on all type of projects within the electrical construction industry. The Electricians Helper must demonstrate the mechanical aptitude, mathematical skills, and literacy skills commensurate to the satisfactory completion of the following position's primary duties and responsibilities.
Perform the basic tasks of material handling, jobsite housekeeping, tool and equipment maintenance, and general labor.
Assist in mounting, securing, and installing electrical raceways, fixtures, and systems.
Assist in wire pulling procedures.
Perform all tasks in a timely manner.
Understand and follow jobsite directions and instructions, both written and verbal.
Comprehends and abides by Stansell Electric customer policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Report all violations to immediate supervisor.
Understand/Perform other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervision.
