*/Job Summary:


Individual contributor role responsible for: Planning, forecasting, managing actual operating expense and capital expenditure for various sub-functions within IT. Provide financial oversight across a portfolio of IT projects.

/Major Responsibilities:/

  • Work with IT managers and project managers to develop and manage operating and project financial budgets

  • Analyze data in project management system (Clarity) and related financial systems (Hyperion, Peoplesoft G/L) for IT sponsored projects as well as IT labor component charged to line of business sponsored projects

  • Develop and enhance senior management level reporting on project and overall financial forecast and actual results across the full IT function

  • Develop routines to accurately forecast, budget, and report depreciation expense at the proper cost center level across the IT organization

  • Advise senior management on financial implications of project planning and implementation scenarios

  • Contribute (provide data, suggest process improvements) to overall consolidated IT financial forecasting and reporting processes

  • Finance or Accounting (or other relevant business) degree

  • 7 years of financial planning and analysis experience

  • Strong financial analytical skills and modeling experience.

  • Strong presentation and written communication skills.

  • Experience with financial management software (Hyperion, Peoplesoft, Business Objects. Clarity preferred).

  • Detail oriented with the ability to work efficiently and independently with little supervision.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time.

  • Problem resolution experience requiring strong analytical skills, sound judgment and ability to work effectively senior IT leaders.
