The Audit & Response Lead, VP, will serve as an Enterprise Information Security (EIS) inquiry response leader and point of contact to provide project management oversight on the resolution of issues as related to Access Management (AM). The activities of this role include identification of enterprise access issues; prioritizing and sequencing issues; obtaining, documenting, and analyzing remediation plans; escalating risks related to AM; and providing ad hoc and monthly status to the access control program and others as requested.
The Audit & Response Lead, VP is a key position in providing assurance on the controls safeguarding the bank’s information assets. Specifically, the position is responsible for the access management issue remediation process:
Monitor and identify new issues that impact access management processes.
Prioritize new AM issues for remediation.
Partner with appropriate staff in obtaining and documenting remediation plans.
Analyze remediation plans as related to current initiatives and completion schedules.
Partner with responsible parties to understand completion status.
Track status of access management issues and report metrics monthly to access control program.
Provide ad hoc reporting as required, including escalation of delayed or at risk issues.
Developing strategies to drive efficiencies in audit/regulatory response efforts.
Fostering effective and positive business relationships with all stakeholders.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on information security trends, regulatory environment and long-term implications for MUFG, Union Bank.
Financial services experience
Top 10 banking (preferred)
IT risk management
Five to ten years of related experience
Attention to detail
Passionate, positive, and driven attitude
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Reliable time management and organization skills
Proactive mindset and behaviors
Ability to lead complex efforts with minimal supervision
Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

Ability to adapt to new and changing environment and handle multiple priorities, including ability to learn quickly
Desired Certifications (one or more of the following):
Six Sigma Belts
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business, or Related Fields
Master’s Degree (desirable)
