Job Description

Jack Henry & Associates is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Contract Administrator Position. This position is responsible forreviewing for content, appropriateness, and generating contracts. The position will review and track software licensing and make sure that license counts are in compliance. This position will work out of our corporate office in Monett MO.   • Minimum of 1 year experience in related field such as accounting or contract administration

  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office Knowledge ( Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • General knowledge of the principles of accounting through professional or classroom work


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, etc.)


  • Administrates and structures contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and partners.

  • Analyses contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government specifications and other requirements.

  • Examines performance requirements, delivery schedules, and estimates of costs of material, equipment, and production to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Prepares bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required.

  • Reviews bids for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids.

  • Negotiates contract with customer or bidder.

  • Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts.

  • Advises planning and production departments of contractual rights and obligations.

  • Provides department leader(s) with administrative support, including coordinating schedules and appointments, organizing travel arrangements, drafting documents, and establishing agendas.

  • Analyzes unit operating practices, such as record keeping systems, forms control, office layout, suggestion systems, personnel and budgetary requirements, and performance standards to revise established procedures.

  • Handles confidential material relevant to company operations. Reviews and answers correspondence.

  • Conducts special analytical projects to assist professionals within the department. Collaborates with various staff and departments to complete special projects.
