Job Description

Jack Henry & Associates is seeking a qualified Pilot for our Corporate Travel Department. This position will be based out of the Monett, MO Regional Airport and will offer an opportunity to be a part of a growing and established Travel Department. With decades of experience, the Jack Henry & Associates Travel Department currently operates a fleet of Embraer Phenom 300 Aircraft under ISBAO Certification and guidelines. With a fully developed Safety Management System (SMS), FOQA Program, in-house maintenance, line service and crew scheduling, the Department has seen continued growth and is eager to find a candidate willing to participate and enhance this dynamic. The position will be responsible for providing positive, professional customer service to both internal and external passengers, as well as coordinating and assisting with all aspects of flight planning, loading of passenger luggage, and supporting fellow crewmembers.   • Three years of pilot experience required.

  • 1,500 hours total Pilot-in-Command time logged in fixed wing aircraft (simulator time excluded).

  • Multi-engine Commercial Instrument Certificate required

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in understanding aircraft systems, components and operations.

  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and operational requirements.

  • Instrument proficiency is required.

  • Current FAA Second Class Medical required, with ability to pass FAA First Class Medical requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and able to use internet sources as well as iPad based applications.

  • Must be able to lift and load luggage up to 50lbs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Superior customer service skills and ability to work as a team player


  • Previous experience within a Corporate or Business Aviation Flight Department

  • Bachelor’s degree or graduation certificate from an accredited Flight School

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate

  • Certified Instrument Flight Instructor Certificate

  • Glass Cockpit FMS (Flight Management System) experience

  • Successful completion of industry specific training (e.g. radar training, high altitude, RVSM, etc.)

  • Possession or ability to obtain a U.S. passport.


  • Participate in the Jack Henry & Associates Safety Management System

  • Participate in team activities and projects that support the growth and improvement of the Travel Department

  • Achieve goals and meet deadlines for completion of assigned work

  • Operate with the highest levels of safety

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Ensure the safety, comfort and convenience of passengers

  • Follow policies and procedures as outlined in the Jack Henry & Associates Flight Operations Manual

  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, local and foreign regulations

  • Monitor crew performance and evaluate crewmember potential for advancement when applicable

  • Study weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports and departure points

  • Review and calculate aircraft weight and balance, fuel requirements and performance

  • Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircrafts operation

  • Complete all required training satisfactorily and on time, including assigned eLearning courses and other training required by Jack Henry & Associates and the Travel Department
