Responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources functionfor the company. Ensures organizational effectiveness through proper alignment of people, processes, structure and culture with business strategies. Continuously assesses and monitors the company’s strategies and objectives and implements changes designed to support these goals.Promotes and displays the values of Respect, Responsiveness and Results across the entire organization.
Leads human resource programs by providing human resource services including: talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, team member relations and retention and AA/EEO compliance.
Reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement ofsystems, policies, procedures and practices.
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensurescompliance.
Maintains responsibility forcompliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to allteam members.
Improves executive and senior leadership performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling as appropriate.
Ensure effective feedback mechanisms through such avenues as town hall meetings, team member satisfaction surveys, one-on-one meetings, and intranet/portal use.
Leadsexecutive management in the annual review, preparation and administration ofthe wage and salary program.
Consults with legal counsel as appropriate.
Recommends, evaluates and participates inteam memberdevelopment company-wide.
Supervises the staff of the human resource department.
Leads the administration of the 401(K) plan andcompletes annual compliance reporting.
Create annual budget and participate in strategic planning process.
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development.
10+years generalist experience in Human Resources
5+ years leadership experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of State and Federal employment and labor laws
Proven leadership andpeople management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively and participate in a team environment
Human Resources SeniorCertified Professional(SHRM - SCP)preferred
