Job Description: Responsible for the decontamination/sterilization of hospital equipment and instruments; Responsible for decontaminating and cleaning patient care equipment; Responsible for replacing broken or missing instruments; Demonstrates proper use and charging of supplies and equipment. Participates in preventive care to prolong the work life of unit equipment Applies principles of aseptic technique as the need arises; obtains cultures from all sterilizers once a week, maintains results in a log book and reports any positive results immediately to the supervisor;
