Kforce Data Migration Analyst in Matawan, New Jersey

Kforce's client in Monmouth County, NJ is looking to add a Data Analyst to their rapidly expanding organization.Overview:The Data Migration Analyst will utilize their expert skills in Excel to assist in a large-scale data preparation and migration project. Responsibilities include client facing communication, data analysis and data validation to drive successful migration to a new case management system.The Data Migration Analyst will be a Microsoft Excel guru, expected to use v-look-ups, Pivot tables, Sorting, Filters, De-duplication and conditional statements responsible for a wide range of data conversion duties.Responsibilities of the Data Migration Analyst will include:

  • Work with legal team staff to explain how to cleanse their data

  • Work closely with IT and data migration team to prepare data mapping and execute the migration process, validate cleansed data, and create tickets for IT to fix bugs or enhance the migration tool

  • Understand conversion issues as well as practical issues faced in the implementation of a new case management system

  • Use Excel skills to develop efficient data evaluation and report formatting methodologies

  • Identify, research and resolve conversion issues

  • Compare data with original source system and validate data accuracy

  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines, attention to detail to ensure that all data is properly cleansed

  • Ability to break down complex business problems into easy-to-digest analysis; produce data and visualization solutions that are easy for stakeholders to interpret

  • Available after-hours/off-hour on schedule or on-call to monitor data migration execution

  • Able to take ownership of assignment and see it through to real impact

  • A self-starter who's comfortable working autonomously
