IBM Analytics Platform Portfolio Seller (Integration & Governance focus) in MARKHAM, Ontario
The Analytics Platform Portfolio Seller is responsible for leading and managing all sales activity for the IBM Analytics Software Portfolio for the assigned territory and accounts. The product portfolio is extensive covering (Big) Data Management and Processing, Content Management, Data Integration and Governance, and Analytics Tooling. This role may have a stronger focus on Data Integration and GovernanceThe importance of the value of data cannot be over-stated within any industry in today's marketplace. IBM's Analytics Platform portfolio of products is at the forefront of the industry with market leading technology and solutions. The role requires continuous prospecting, progressing and closing of sales opportunities for individual Software products, and Software/Service bundles that include products from the portfolio. Licensing types include On Premise, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Term. The Seller develops, and continues to maintain a strategic and tactical territory plan for the product set. He/she develops software solutions that address the client's business needs and deliver client value. He/she remains current and knowledgeable of IBM strategies as they relate to the client base and the industry. He/she works with the entire client account team to integrate software solutions into broader IBM solutions (services, hardware, software) offered to the client.The Seller will be measured on consistent bookings performance against quota and targets by month, quarter and the fiscal year, and end customer success. The expectation is for continuous growth of sales within the territory – measured by new accounts, sale of new products into existing accounts, and revenue growth.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of Software Sales Experience. Writing Proficiency; Public Speaking Proficiency.
