The MSS plans and executes marketing and sales strategies by working in a collaborative way with the account managers. Needs od strong product knowledge and customer relationships skills to ensure the short and long term profitability in the market. Required strong Marketing knowledge as well as deep understanding on Medical Technology Market dynamics.
LEAD direct and indirect Sales for Ultrasound products in Iberia and provide on-line and focused clinical, technical and strategic sales support to sales representatives to ensure quota achievement.
Defining and developing the annual US marketing plan, including objectives, strategies and short term plans, and ensuring successful implementation
Develop and maintain contacts with opinion leaders and luminaries in the addressed market. Cultivates relationships with leading physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers and administrators, having them as references for Philips Medical Systems
Proposing and executing tactical and strategic local marketing programs to maximize orders and market share for Philips Ultrasound products
Establishing and using appropriate metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and projects; continuously adapting and evaluating marketing processes and programs to reflect changing business needs.
Collect and analyze competitive price data and use it for correct positioning and pricing rounds
Working closely with management to identify sales requirements and incremental business opportunities
Managing customer visits to reference sites when needed
Work with Marcom Specialist to optimize new products launches and participate in seminars and trade shows
Cooperate with support department and exchange all relevant information about defective products and customer needs
Cooperate with Admin groups to facilitate all aspects of business administration
Provide funnel and sales forecast to management
Provide customer feedback using Philips internal process
Being part of the Ultrasound department and reporting to the US Business Manager, the US Marketing & Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting Ultrasound products and Services in a designated Clinical Segment as well as providing support to the development of Ultrasound Strategy and Business Goals.
