Reporting to our Accounting management, you will work with a team of twenty-four at The Cheesecake Factory Corporate Support Center in Calabasas Hills, CA. As a Sr Accountant your core focus will be the execution and review of a variety of Accounting duties for a $2.1B, publicly traded entity; a true market leader with over 200 full-service restaurants and more than 36,000 staff members.
Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in our real estate & lease accounting, profit & loss review, account reconciliations, and miscellaneous projects (SOX, system upgrades, etc.).

Prepare journal entries, account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
Month-end P&L review of Corporate cost centers.
Monthly reimbursement and royalty calculations for our international partners.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
Gift card related entries and associated reconciliations.
Prepare 401K, ESP, HSA, and FSA weekly reconciliations.
Approval of expense reports in accordance with the T&E policy.
Work cross functionally with department heads throughout the company.
Provide SEC and audit support.
Complete ad hoc analysis and projects, as needed.

Bachelors in Accounting or Finance related discipline.
2 years of general accounting experience with sound knowledge of GAAP.
Strong Excel skills (v/h lookup, sumif, pivot tables).
Solid analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills. • Detail-oriented and accurate.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
CPA or in the process of attaining it.
Public accounting experience.
