Education & Experience

Job Description:

Retail Store Key Holder, assists Store Manager in the efficient operation of a retail store; performs duties as a Stores Associate, leading store staff as assigned in their absence.

A Key Holder must complete an in-depth in-house training program before working as a Key Holder.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works as a Store Associate when not performing Key Holder duties.

  • Assists in providing and maintaining a safe environment for customers and employees on the sales floor and backroom production area.

  • Opens,closes and works as a Key Holder, within specified guidelines, consults with District Manager and Director of Stores when needed.

  • Maintains excellent customer and employee relations.

  • Reconciles receipts, currency and production reports.

  • Utilizes Intranet to complete reports, communicates via email and keeps up to date with processes and procedures.

  • Assigns specific duties to store associates and volunteers; follow-ups on progress.

  • Maintains excellent housekeeping standards.

  • Attends all required Management Certification classes and Company Management Skills Training classes.

  • Able to move 25 lbs minimum and works flexible shifts and overtime when needed.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs necessary janitorial work.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Performs limited supervisory duties in the absence of the Store Manager.
