Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Min 1 year of retail store experience required.
Good communication and people skills.
Demonstrated maturity and leadership skills in leading entry-level employees.
Abilities to work with minimal supervision; self-starter is a plus.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Punctual and dependable attendance.
Free from alcohol and drug abuse.

Other Educational Skills & Abilities
- Must have basic knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail.
English Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Microsoft Words, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
Retail Store Key Holder, assists Store Manager in the efficient operation of a retail store; performs duties as a Stores Associate, leading store staff as assigned in their absence.
A Key Holder must complete an in-depth in-house training program before working as a Key Holder.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Works as a Store Associate when not performing Key Holder duties.
Assists in providing and maintaining a safe environment for customers and employees on the sales floor and backroom production area.
Opens,closes and works as a Key Holder, within specified guidelines, consults with District Manager and Director of Stores when needed.
Maintains excellent customer and employee relations.
Reconciles receipts, currency and production reports.
Utilizes Intranet to complete reports, communicates via email and keeps up to date with processes and procedures.
Assigns specific duties to store associates and volunteers; follow-ups on progress.
Maintains excellent housekeeping standards.
Attends all required Management Certification classes and Company Management Skills Training classes.
Able to move 25 lbs minimum and works flexible shifts and overtime when needed.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
Performs necessary janitorial work.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Performs limited supervisory duties in the absence of the Store Manager.
